1.10 Summary
A flight in the Open category is always subjected to the Visual Flight Rules (VFR) under the Visual Line of Sight (VLOS) conditions.
Under these conditions, the remote pilot must fly the UAS in such a way to ensure that it constantly remains within their VLOS, that they can control the aircraft accurately, and that they are able to judge the UAS’s distance to obstacles.
See chapter 1.10 for a summary.
