The pilot must always observe the minimum horizontal distance of the UAS in relation to persons or groups of persons who are not involved in the flight. A group is considered a group if an individual’s ability to flee is restricted by the number of people present. The horizontal distance is defined as the distance between the point where the UAS would hit the ground in the event of a vertical fall and the position of the uninvolved persons.
