4.1 I'M SAFE

Flying and health is a very important part of aviation. A pilot must always be Fit to Fly. This can be checked via the so-called I'M SAFE checklist.
The crew, and the pilot in particular, must ensure that they are in good health before embarking on a flight.
In principle, the use of medication prior to or during a flight should always be avoided, as medication always affects the human body.
With other medications advice of a specialist is desirable.
