6.9  UAS settings

In order to comply with all relevant safety limits and measures, the pilot must configure several settings in the operating software used to control the UAS. The most important settings are:

  • Maximum altitude;
  • Maximum distance;
  • Return-to-Home point and Return-to-Home altitude;
  • Mandatory Geo-Awareness updates for the UAS;
  • Entering the mandatory registration number.
