7.2  Data security

Data collected by UAS can be stored securely, and some professional UAS even have a so-called ‘Local Data Mode’. When in this mode, the UAS will not communicate with the Internet or any other networks and only store data locally, to ensure that no data can be transmitted or received by the UAS.

Data are also often stored in the cloud. To guarantee privacy, anyone storing data in the cloud must enter into a processing agreement with the related cloud storage company.
