6.5 Controls

There are various ways to pilot a UAS. It is recommended to carefully go through the various control methods for every system you work with. In general, we can distinguish the following control options:

  • Manual;
  • GNSS stabilised;
  • Pre-programmed flight;
  • Autonomous.

Pilots must know which mode applies to their specific system and must be familiar with the capabilities of their specific UAS.
