6.3 | BATTERIES 

The battery is the energy provider of the unmanned aircraft. A battery consists of several cells, which convert chemical energy into electricity.

Cells can be connected in two ways:

  • Parallel: this delivers the same electrical voltage as a single cell, but can deliver a greater electrical current (amperes).
  • In series: this provides a higher electrical voltage as a single cell, but the same electrical current (amps).
