Flying an unmanned aircraft is not without risk. In order to obtain a good understanding of the risk factors, we will discuss a number of special factors below.

3.1.1       Interference

Interference is the disturbance of radio control or GPS of an unmanned aircraft, whether intentional or not, by other systems. A control signal may be disturbed by other signals that are on the same frequency at the same time (e.g. radio masts and transformers).
