3.2 | THE EFFECTS OF WEATHER ON AN UNMANNED AIRCRAFT

Weather conditions can have a major impact on the performance of an aircraft. The most common weather conditions you will encounter as a pilot are wind, temperature, visibility, air density and solar activity. Each condition has its own specific influence.

3.2.1      Air pressure and air density

  • turns clockwise in a high-pressure area;
  • counterclockwise in a low-pressure area;
