2.5 | DISTANCES TO UNINVOLVED PERSONS AND BUILDINGS 

As a drone photographer, you should always keep a certain distance from uninvolved persons and buildings. If you fly in the Open category, then the following rules apply:

  • At least 50 meters if you are flying a drone without a CE label heavier than 500 grams but lighter than 2 kilograms (provided you are in possession of the EU Drone Licence A2). You are permitted to fly over buildings.
  • With a drone lighter than 500 grams, you may not fly directly over uninvolved persons
