5.1 | TECHNICAL AND OPERATIONAL MEASURES FOR GROUND RISKS

As a pilot, you must always monitor the minimum horizontal distance of the unmanned aircraft from (groups of) people. This involves distance from persons not involved in the operation. A group is considered a group if its ability to flee is limited by the number of people present. The horizontal distance is defined as the distance between the point where the unmanned aircraft would hit the ground in a vertical drop downward and the position of the non-involved persons.
