3.1 | WEATHER LIMITS AND EFFECTS

Like technical limits, a drone also has limits regarding weather conditions. The most important circumstances you need to consider as a pilot are set out below.

Temperature

Both heat and cold can affect the drone's performance. The battery, in particular, can suffer when exposed to extreme temperatures. For example, a battery that is too cold will not function properly, and there is a risk of cell failure if the battery overheats.
