Airspace Observer Responsabilities - Aerial Observer (AO)

The deployment of airspace observers is not limited to operations covered by Standardscenario's. They can also be deployed in other operations that fall under the Specific-category. The main responsibilities of the AO are:

  • maintain a thorough visual scan of the airspace around the unmanned aerial vehicle (UA) to identify any risk of collision with a manned aircraft;
