In the Netherlands, the distance to roads and railways is subject to a number of additions compared to the European Regulation. For subcategories A1 and A2 it is prohibited to fly within a horizontal distance of 50 meters from roads with a maximum speed of at least 80 kilometers per hour and within a horizontal distance of 25 meters from railway lines. For subcategory A3 this horizontal distance is 150 meters.
